ORGANIZATIONS in the SouthWest

Youth Action This group in Albuquerque, New Mexico, works with youth and community-based organizations, primarily in communities of color, low income communities, and LGBTQ communities. They have been nurturing youth organizing since 1987 by assisting youth and adult allies. We provide trainings, events, technical assistance and networking opportunities to strengthen youth organizing and create change for local communities.

Jovenes Unidos SWOP is committed to providing leadership development to young people with opportunities and access to resources we need to think for ourselves and analyze our surroundings, to have a voice in decisions that affect our lives, and to build power in our communities.
