SoundOut
Student-Led School Improvement Process (Statewide)
Provides details about SoundOut programs in several elementary, middle
and senior high schools across the state.
Student2Student
(Statewide)
In this Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction project, students
and adults from OSPI, as well as several
state education organizations, promote new graduation requirements to
eighth grade students across the state.
School Improvement Process
(Statewide) SoundOut staff
helped develop OSPI's school improvement plan, including a section on
meaningful student involvement.
Changing SPACES (Students Promoting Action for Change in Environments
at Schools) (Statewide) A
partnership between OSPI and SoundOut where students and educators
examined student voice in their school and planned steps to change.
Student Equity
Projects (Seattle) The
Equity and Race Relations Office at SPS provides SoundOut training and
assistance to every high school in the city, all focused on engaging
students in equity-focused school improvement.
